Spectrum 2024 An overview of spectrum reallocation in the United States

About this event: Over the past years, the NTIA and FCC have tirelessly been reallocating reserved spectrum for enhanced use and devising strategies to share the spectrum for broader usage. In 2020, we witnessed the inauguration of Spectrum at 3.5 GHz in the CBRS bands, followed by the extension of the license-free allocations for WiFi at 6 GHz in 2021, among other developments. These efforts have inspired similar changes globally. In this 2024 event, we’ll explore the political, regulatory, and technical aspects of these spectral reallocations, and discuss ongoing activities and potential results of ongoing processes.
